The term The Paperbox Ltd or 'us' or 'we' refers to the owners of the website whose registered office is: Unit 9, Shires Bridge Business Park, York Road, Easingwold, York, YO61 3EQ, UK. Our company registration number is 6838654. The term 'you' refers to the user or viewer of our website.

Security

For your protection, we and our 3rd party providers are fully PCI and DSS compliant. Written details are available on request.

The Paperbox website is SSL protected for secure payments via our trusted provider, Stripe. No record of your card or financial details are accessible to us.

Products

Our card and paper are cut and creased to industry standards which means that there is an accepted tolerance of 1mm - 3mm variation, therefore all product descriptions state the 'approx' size. 

Shipping

Our liability and legal duty only extends to the address as specified by you in the shipping details. We accept no liability once delivery has taken place other than those defined by the distance selling rules. 

Goods can only be shipped to the address specified at point of order. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that all goods can be delivered to the address specified on the order (shipping address) You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received. 

Our shipping delivery estimates are not guaranteed timescales and deliveries may be delayed due to exceptional and/or unforeseen circumstances (e.g severe weather conditions, road traffic accidents preventing transport etc.) and courier logistics.

We are unable to deliver to PO Box and BFPO addresses.

Late Deliveries / Lost 

Goods shall only be deemed as lost if not delivered to the provided shipping address by the end of the 10th working day after its due date of delivery, unless there is evidence to the contrary to demonstrate that the item has not been lost.

Order Queries

Queries or concerns regarding your order must be raised within 2 days of delivery to the provided shipping address. 

EU Sales

Due to ongoing issues with customs and severe delays, all EU sales are currently suspended. We are actively working to resolve this.

Cancellation and Your Rights and Returns

You have the right to return your order within 14 days of receipt of the goods.

If you wish to return a product due to a ‘change of heart’ the cost of the return will be borne by the you, the customer. However, if there is a fault, the return delivery costs will be borne by us.

All goods returned to us should be returned in suitable packaging and protected against postal damage. Failure to comply with this request, or goods received back to us damaged through poor or inappropriate packaging, may only be subject to a partial refund, and potentially no refund, depending on the amount of damage as assessed by us. We regret that we are not able to accept part used packs as these are deemed as accepted by you and cannot be returned.

Please note that clearance/sale products, insert cards/papers, samples, wholesale card blanks and wholesale card sheets (A5, 5 x 7, A6, A7) are bespoke, made to order products and are therefore non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

We reserve the right to recoup reverse shipping charges in certain circumstances, including but not limited to, shipping address errors, declined acceptance on delivery to the given shipping address etc. Goods remain the property of The Paperbox Ltd at all times unless paid for in full.

Our Termination Rights

We reserve the right to terminate, without notice, the account and/or orders of any customer who is abusive, excessively unreasonable, unreasonably demanding, aggressive, is barred from other sites relating to the business performed by The Paperbox Ltd or who breaches the terms and conditions listed on this site or previously operated by the owner/s of The Paperbox Ltd. This termination extends to the abuse of discount vouchers, business accounts, reviews, promotions and also to cases of suspected postal theft and the misuse of systems to gain fraudulent refunds whether carried out on this site or other sites operated by us. We have procedures in place which enable us to independently investigate such cases and if we suspect  beyond reasonable doubt that this has taken place, will take action. We reserve the right not to provide a service to you under any circumstances in breach of our terms and conditions and/or any of the above stated reasons. Any payment made for goods not supplied by us will be refunded in full by the payment method executed at the time of purchase. 

We also reserve the right to cancel any order, whether paid for or not, that is the result of an error on the website. This extends to purchases from exempt locations where incorrect or misleading information has been provided to circumnavigate our filters.

We regularly run promotions but we reserve the right to terminate any promotion at any time without notice or explanation.

Trade Mark (EU and UK)

The Paperbox, its intellectual property rights and brand is protected under the trade mark of the EU (European Union) and UK. It is valid under the laws and terms of the EU in all 26 countries. Any infringement of these rights will be acted upon in cases of dishonesty, theft and any act not in accordance with the laws of the country they occurred in. Action will be taken and damages will be sought on any act deemed by the solicitors acting for The Paperbox Ltd, to breach the infringement rights of The Paperbox and any other associated companies or companies licensed to use The Paperbox brand name and/or logo.

All trademarks reproduced in this website, which are not the property of, or licensed to the operator, are acknowledged on the website.

Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose.

This website contains material which is owned by or licensed by us and to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance, photographs and graphics.
